Once a glimmer in John Singleton’s eye, now a magnificent jewel bedazzling the city of Gosford – Bonython Tower marks the beginning of the Central Coast boom.

Opening in April, this $35 million development built by Stevens Construction sits 14-stories high over the main street, just moments from Gosford station.

It includes 56 luxury apartments, with sweeping views of a shimmering waterfront, and large office spaces for businesses keen to cement themselves in the most premium commercial building on the coast.

John Singleton is excited to see the coast reinvigorated, “I want as many people as possible to live the dream of owning the best units or office space in the best location, in the heart of the Gosford CBD” he said.

One of the most impressive features of the tower is the Bon Pavilion, a $4 million contemporary dining experience curated by renowned chef Sean Connolly, with designer decadence at every turn.

It’s no secret that Singleton knows how to dream up something spectacular, but he also knows how to bring it all to life – call Stevens Construction.

From laying the concrete to crafting the inspired internal staircase, everything came together well ahead of schedule thanks to the award-winning construction company. This was in spite of several difficult constraints, including significant levelling of the site and mindfully completing construction with busy bus stops located immediately out front.

Established on the Central Coast in 1988, they are experts in design, planning, engineering and construction management for Commercial, Retail, Industrial, Hospitality, Residential and Tertiary projects.

Mr Singleton couldn’t have been happier with the standards achieved in Bonython Tower as evidence of a successful collaboration between the architect, the interior designer and construction company “These units are beautifully designed and appointed” said the millionaire mogul.

Now the tallest high-rise development in the area, Bonython Tower was a project of epic proportions for Stevens, making them the first Central Coast company to execute such a task.

It was all too familiar for the group, who have a track record handling challenging projects with exacting logistics and public safety considerations.

“We take our responsibilities in relation to WH&S and the adjoining properties/public wellbeing and amenity very seriously” says Director and Construction Manager Steven Mailey.

“Our meticulous engineering processes ensures that we make it happen as economically as possible, without compromising our high quality construction standards” he added.

Previous MBA winners, Stevens Construction recently won Commercial Builder of the Year Award for the 2019 Newcastle Master Builders Association Excellence in Building Awards.

“They are to be commended for their continued pursuit in achieving the high quality finishes and exceptional project management throughout all of their projects" appraised the judges.
